Sledding and tobogganing - The day is reserved for sledding and tobogganing, two of the top favorite pastimes in the winter wonderland. Take the cog train all the way to Rotenboden station and rent a sledge there. Follow the path all the way to Riffelberg station. Hand over your sled at the Riffelberg railway station. This thrilling sledding run lasts for ten minutes and is 234 vertical meters long.A train ride to Gornergrat - Experience a thrilling ride on The Gongergrat train, the first cog railway that is fully electrified. The 40-minute ride starts at Zermatt village and passes through forests, bridges, and frozen lakes before reaching Gornergrat, the highest point at an elevation of 3089 meters. Admire the panoramic views of the Matterhorn and Gorner Glacier apart from numerous other 4000-meter mountain peaks, including The Monte Rosa, the highest peak in Switzerland. You can also hike across the landscape with snowshoes if you wish to explore the mountain ranges further. Enjoy a traditional Swiss lunch at the restaurant on top of the rocky ridge before you head back.Visiting Jungfraujoch mountain - If you have the time, you can visit Jungfraujoch to see the Great Aletsch Glacier. The Eiger Trail also begins here. A trip on the cable car can give you excellent views of the Lauterbrunnen Valley. And you'll also be able to spot Wetterhorn peak and the Grindelwald village.

Snowshoe tour - Embark on the guided, magical snowshoe tour on the Matterhorn Glacier Trail starting from Trockener Steg all the way to Schwarzsee. On the last day, we returned to Zermatt city and went exploring nearby. We visited Hinterdorf, Sunnegga sun terrace, &nbsp;Rothorn area's trails and the English Church.&nbsp;
