We headed to Murano on our second day. This island was so beautiful with lots to see. We visited Chiesa di San Pietro Martire, Museo del Vetro and the Mazzega Glass Factory. After lunch, we visited the Basilica di Santa Maria e San Donato, Santa Maria degli Angeli and Palazzo da Mula. We ended the trip by seeing the artistic works of the Schiavon Art Team. By late afternoon, we had taken the ferry to the island of San Giorgio Maggiore, where we visited the church and went all the way up to the bell tower to catch the sunset.

On our last day in Venice, we visited Burano and Torcello. In the first half of the day, at Burano, we saw the Leaning Tower of Burano, Casa di Bepi Suà, Piazza Galuppi and Burano Lace Museum. After lunch, we took the ferry to Torcello, where we visited the Museum of Torcello and the Venetian-Byzantine Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta. The cathedral houses the beautiful Mosaic of the Madonna and Byzantine mosaics. We had an early dinner at the famous Cipriani restaurant, before heading back to Venice, for our romantic, nighttime Grand Canal Boat Tour.

For our 30th Wedding Anniversary, my spouse and I visited the beautiful city of Venice in Italy. We decided to visit all the major tourist spots and some of the hidden gems. We went on the romantic grand canal gondola ride as well, which was such a beautiful way to celebrate our three decades of togetherness. If there’s one romantic city where you can celebrate your marriage, Venice has to be it.&nbsp;
