Snagov

Drive to Snagov and visit Snagov Monastery. Legend has it that Vlad the Impaler was buried in Snagov Monastery after his assassination. Vlad the Impaler is the inspiration behind the creation of the fictional Dracula. Founded in the 14th century, Manastirea Snagov is situated within Lake Snagov north of Snagov village.Vlad the Impaler built fortifications apart from a bell tower, bridge, torture chamber, and a prison, the remains of which you can still see.

Today, set off in the morning to visit the Poienari Fortress, Vlad's faithful fortress. There is a citadel perched on the cliff that you can reach by climbing 1000 stairs. We also paid a visit to the peaceful Monastery Nativity of St John the Baptist before leaving for Sibiu.Evening you will reach Sibiu, the fortified town. Visit Fortress Walls (by solving a puzzle), Bridge of Lies, Lutheran Evangelical Cathedral and Tower, and much more at your own pace.Enjoy the traditional Saxon Dinner at Sibiu.

Medieval Weapon Museum

Today, head to Sighisoara Medieval Citadel, which is one of Europe's best-preserved medieval citadels and a UNESCO World Heritage center. It is also Vlad the Impaler's birthplace.After a tour of the citadel, visit the Sighisoara Clock Tower, a 14-century clock tower. Observe the tower's multicolored-tiled roof that shines like dragon scales. We even visited the beautiful Covered Stairway and Klosterkirche when here.&nbsp;

Visit the Turda Salt Mine, a spectacular underground formation that also houses an amusement park, concert hall, and a salt lake.Reach Borgo Pass, where you can stay at Dracula Castle Hotel, the setting for the novel Dracula.

Black Church

On the sixth day, visit the Bran Castle, also called 'Dracula's Castle,' a Transylvanian fortress in Brasov. It's a beautiful and scary place. Here you'll also be able to see The Black Church, Cetatea Râșnov fortress, Brașov City Hall and Poarta Ecaterinei.Attend the non-verbal Dracula's Wedding show, performed by professionals.

Peleș Castle

In the morning, head to Sinaia to visit the royal Peles Castle.Continue your journey and see the Vlad Tepes royal court, Castelul Pelișor, Castelul Stirbey and end the trip with a game at the Sinaia Casino.&nbsp;
