Jurong Bird Park&nbsp;- You can plan to spend about half a day or more at Jurong Bird Park, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Singapore. The sprawling park is the largest bird park in Asia and is located along Jurong Hills. Housing over 3500 birds and rare bird species in their natural habitat, the park is full of things to see and do. Hop on to the tram to explore the park and the different zones.&nbsp;National Orchid Garden -&nbsp;Admire the beautiful orchids at the Orchid Garden within Singapore Botanic Garden. The place is home to 60,000 orchids arranged according to the four seasons. Spring is represented by yellow orchids, while pink and red signify summer. Purples orchids are for the autumn, and the winter season is represented by beautiful white orchids.Westgate Shopping Mall&nbsp;- In the evening, visit the Westgate Shopping Mall, a massive lifestyle shopping arcade where you can find electronics, lifestyle, accessories, to everything else under one roof. There are also some incredible restaurants where you can sample Asian, Singaporean, and international cuisine.Night Safari - Post-dinner, we made our way to the Night Safari zoo, for an unforgettable night time animal viewing experience.&nbsp;

Japanese Garden - The opulent garden on the island within Jurong Lake is a well-manicured, picturesque garden replete with stone lanterns, bridges, rock arches, and gazebos. Sit back and enjoy the ethereal beauty of the greenery around you. You can also visit the Chinese Garden adjacent to the Japanese Garden that is connected by the "Bridge of Double Beauty." The Chinese Garden has pagodas, stunning rock carvings, and mini ponds apart from gazebos.A highlight of the Chinese Garden that you cannot afford to miss is the Live Turtle and Tortoise Museum. There are numerous breeds of tortoises and turtles collected from different parts of the world, including Matamata, snake-headed turtles, Golden Terrapin, and the six-legged tortoise.Little Guilin - This gorgeous little pond and its lush surroundings made for such a relaxing picnic spot for us.Science Museum - The museum features a wide range of models, innovative replicas, scientific instruments, and an extra-terrestrial observatory.Nature Reserve - For nature lovers, the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve is an ideal destination. Full of tropical vegetation, thick rainforests, and native flora, the nature reserve is perfect for trekking, camping, and hiking.Singapore Zoo - We ended our trip with a visit to the celebrated Singapore Zoo. The collection of animals here is excellent and we really enjoyed our experience.&nbsp;

There are so many places to see and things to do in Jurong. Start by visiting the amazing Jurong Bird Park and explore the rare species of tropical birds. Head out to the Orchid Garden to marvel at stunning orchids before ending your day at the sprawling Westgate Shopping Mall. The second day is reserved for the Science Museum, Japanese and Chinese Gardens, as well as the Nature Reserve, where you can hike or trek.&nbsp;
