Our first stop on our day long tour was the gorgeous West Thumb Geyser. We got out of the car and walked the inner and outer loops around the geyser. We were able to see other points like Thumb Paint Pots, Abyss Pool and Fishing Con.From here we made our way to the legendary Old Faithful Geyser Basin. It blows every 90 minutes and we made it just in time to catch it in action. It’s an unforgettable experience. After we saw the eruption, we made a quick stop at the Old Faithful Inn to have a drink and a meal.Next we headed over to the Grand Prismatic Spring. We parked the car at Grand Prismatic Spring Overlook. Then we hopped back into the car and made our way to the gorgeous Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone.&nbsp;Finally, we drove north towards Gardiner and made our way to the Mammoth Hot Springs. Although we had just a few hours left, we chose to go on the Grand Loop Road, on Dunraven Pass to see Liberty Cap spring.&nbsp;

Roosevelt Arch

Norris Geyser Basin

We left from Gardiner again and drove to see the Roosevelt Arch and Arch Park. Next, we made our way to see Tower Falls, the Norris Geyser Basin, Lower Falls of the Yellowstone, Boiling River and stayed overnight at the Sunny Slope Lodge. The next morning, we had breakfast at Yellowstone Grill, and then drove back to Gardiner, to explore the Gardiner Market.&nbsp;

Back for a second helping 

The oldest and largest national park in the United States, Yellowstone was a spectacular place to visit. We could see pristine water bodies shimmering in all colors over here. The geysers, in particular – there are so many – were captivating. We don’t have geysers back home; it was the first time I’d seen them.Yellowstone National Park is home to such diverse creatures. We saw so many bison, birds, and exotic flowers. Our phones and camera memories are full now because of them. The one-day exploration of Yellowstone allowed us to visit only a few of the many places. But it was worth every second.&nbsp;
